Yamaha officially introduced their latest naked bike based on the Yamaha R1, MT-10 at the exhibition EICMA 2015 in Milan, Italy. As a new family series MT, naked version of the Yamaha YZF-R1 uses the same chassis and engine but has a different setting and fixtures.

Bicycles various other MT series models, such as MT-125, MT-03, MT-07, MT-09 up, a new model with a capacity of up to 1,000 cc engine is claimed to be more simple and practical for use in urban streets. As a model that will have a production version, complete with Yamaha cross plane crankshaft of R1 adjusted and the cruise control feature.

Yamaha MT-10 is a product of three Japanese manufacturers coming into the super naked class after issuing Suzuki GSX-S and the Kawasaki Z1000.

Yamaha MT-10 is getting CP4 cross plane crankshaft inline four, with a capacity of 998 cc of R1 are reset from 205 HP to power 160-170 HP to compete with the BMW S1000R. Available with a system and a Yamaha D-Mode 3 mode traction; Standard, A, and B. Mode A are for controlling sporty, fierce in the lower-medium rpm while the "standard" is used for a leisurely stroll or touring. While the mode B, used in jams or slippery roads.

For now, the Yamaha MT-10 is only available for the European market with the launch scheduled for the end of May 2016. It has three colors, Tech Black, Race Blue, or Night Fluo.
