Boss of Lamborghini Design Moved To Hyundai

Hyundai is very serious work on Genesis as a luxury brand. Evidently, the South Korean manufacturer makes the former Director of Brand & Design Lamborghini Manfred Fitzgerald as senior vice president who handles Hyundai Genesis.

Hyundai, Fitzgerald does not work alone. He will also be joined by other expatriates like Peter Schreyer, Chief Design Officer of Hyundai, even with Luc Donckerwolke of Bentley, and Albert Biermann in BMW based in Seoul, South Korea. As reported by Reuters page, on Wednesday (30/12/2015).

Although many expats, Fitzgerald is not an easy task. One senior researcher of South Korea Lee Hang-Koo explained Fitzgerald has a big challenge because he worked for car manufacturers from Asia. So he must be knowing the character of the surrounding residents.

"The challenge for foreign executives that align with local residents, especially its job working in a premium brand," said Hang-koo.

Fitzgerald itself is not working at Lamborghini since 2011. Fitzgerald first joined the Italian sports car manufacturer in 1999 and immediately served as Director of Brand & Design Lamborghini.

Previously, the first model Genesis, G90 successfully won the award when he was only a few months. A luxury sedan that captivate the jury in the event the 2015 Good Design Award. This is the event that is shaded by the professional architects, design specialists, and lovers of art and culture, and they gathered in New York, the United States and choose the best designs from all sides of the product.
